Right Angle: Backstage 06/30/26 (LINK: Bill Whittle and Team discuss World Cup Fans in America)

Hi Freepers, many of us, including those who (like me who thinks soccer is the most boring sport ever, including golf) aren't in the least bit interested in soccer or The World Cup, but are completely enthralled by the LEGAL foreigners coming to visit America, most of whom are seeing and experiencing it for the first time.

I listened to this today, and I love the perspectives of these three men (Bill Whittle, Steve Green, and Scott Ott) which mirrored my reactions to these guests from all over the world, that I wanted to share it with those on Free Republic who feel as I do.

Bill Whittle usually makes this show he does weekly (called "Right Angle Backstage" where the three men talk in an unstructured manner about various topics of the day. No video of anything except their three faces doing their production on a conference call, and it is meant to be mostly free flowing, and can branch off into any uncharted territory at any moment, If you love conversation, this is what that is, three conservative guys getting together. and chatting.

Normally, they do one or two structured "Right Angle" episodes (each 10-15 minutes long) apart from this unstructured "backstage" episode, and those are focused on a specific subject of the day. Those structured episodes are available to the public.

But their unstructured "Right Angle Backstage" episodes are normally reserved for "Members Only", but they decided to make this "backstage" episode open to the public.

In this unstructured discussion, they just talk about random aspects of this wonderful phemonenon, and it he charming, informative, and heart warming.

and I view Bill Whittle as an amazing, down-to-Earth capital "C" Conservative who holds conservative values that he explains well, and is interested in many of the things I am such as aviation (he is a pilot), space travel, and the military.

I view him as an unappreciated Conservative jewel, and I encourage everyone to check out his numerous Right Angle videos and other productions (such as he has put out over the years such as his excellent documentaries on the Apollo program and the Cold War.

I am, and have been so proud of this beautiful country of ours and the people in it, that I am nearly emotionally blown away to see people from all over the world who have come here and discovered America is not a vicious dangerous place and we are not fork-tailed devils as their government and media constantly portray us, but a country populated by good, generous, and friendly people who do, as many of us here on Free Republic do) love our wonderful country and thank God we were born here and have this opportunity, even if many of us take it for granted.
