Usually I get put off by Marcus' videos' length and rambling. He's done a good one here. I didn't even look at the YT transcript, because of his accent. Anyone actually interested in the content won't mind the 25 minutes, or alternatively, reading the transcript themselves.
Starship Flight 12 may be over, but SpaceX is already pushing hard toward Flight 13.
This week, Booster 20 rolled to Massey's for cryogenic proof testing and completed its first successful cryo test while Ship 40 continued preparations for static fire testing. We also examine what remains before both vehicles can be cleared for launch and discuss how Flight 13's timeline is shaping up.
Meanwhile, production continues across Starbase as Ship 41 and Booster 21 make progress toward Flight 14. We also check in on Raptor testing at McGregor, Gigabay construction in Texas and Florida, launch pad upgrades, and new clues about SpaceX's future plans including Starfall, orbital manufacturing, and asteroid mining concepts revealed through recent SpaceX materials.Cryo Test | Starship Update | 17:17

I do appreciate his content and enthusiasm, but his demeanor and voice are not a draw for me. I do watch for the content, which he does a very good job of organizing and presenting, except for his overly “cheery” demeanor which fits his enthusiasm but detracts from his material just a bit.
I get the impression he is a good guy, though, so I look past that.
Space X truly showcases technological marvels. Its Starlink system provides 21st century telecommunications and internet access to the world and is hugely profitable.
However beyond providing launch services to put commercial satellites in orbit, how will Space X obtain the revenues to create new profits and justify its stock price?
When the next-gen Starlink sats get orbited, there’s going to be a massive shift in that direction. Data center companies (perhaps Oracle for starters) and mobile phone networks are two obvious areas.
I’d really prefer it if he’d do more uploads of shorter duration and tighter focus.
Lots of military sats for gov’t agencies such as the Space Force, NRO, etc. This is where Elon makes his big money and largely accounts for his status as a trillionaire.
100GW per year within 36 months, Terafab, and a rail gun launcher on the moon….
Read the tam, it went from a space company to now a AI company. Space has been pushed aside.
I watch Marcus’ videos at 1.5X speed.
