Funny how the media are all worked up that POTUS gets involved in GOP primaries

Funny how the media are all worked up that POTUS gets involved in GOP primaries to support his preferred candidates and, conversely, to defeat those who don't support him or his agenda.

Presidents have done this since the political parties have existed in this country.  They are called primaries, after all.

Some more recent presidents, including and especially FDR, unleashed the IRS-DOJ-FBI against their political opponents -- AND media outlets and businessmen who were unfavorable to them and their agenda.

The fact that POTUS is upfront and open about what he is doing is actually evidence of his honesty and integrity in making clear what he is doing and why he is doing it.

Wonderful to end the day with a tele-rally alongside @realDonaldTrump. President Trump made the case that Thomas Massie is the biggest roadblock to the America First agenda.

Massie voted against tax cuts and, as President Trump said, “if he had his way, ICE and border security would be defunded.”

Tomorrow, Kentucky can fire Massie once and for all. I would be honored to have your vote. God bless 🇺🇸 — Ed Gallrein (@EdGallrein) May 18, 2026

Trump is kicking allies out of the House, for unknown lackeys. If you supported Trump, then disagree with policies, you are THE ENEMY.

Massie is not an ally. Massie IS the establishment. The Democrat Party establishment. He has been a reliable vote for Hakeem Jeffries and Hamas. Wake up everyone!

You mean Trump is actually not supporting somebody who disagrees with his policies.

Imagine that.

Interesting, considering the democrats have given up on having primaries but instead select from among themselves, who’s going to be the democrat nominee.

Bunch of wannabe tyrants.

If, by “funny”, you mean hypocritical sacks of Massie.

One of the most profound effects Trump has had on GOP voters is that he convinced a portion of them that the establishment guys who fall in line are the heroes and the ones who challenge the system (like Trump 2016 did) are the villains.
