They are less gerrymandered than before.
Pretty much everywhere, whether a “blue state”, “red state”, or “purple state”, the more contiguous and compact the congressional lines are drawn, the more potential Republican seats there will be and the fewer potential Democrat seats.
To: Enterprise
So, how many seats is this (potentially)?
I assume the plan is:
* Media
* Marc Elias
* Violence
To: Enterprise
racial gerrymander And more specifically, a Democrat gerrymander - which is the actual purpose of it. Democrats have significant numbers of seats due specifically to gerrymandering, both in blue states and red states alike.

I’m afraid that you’re expectation is accurate. Where is the MAGA / Republican Marc Elias?
To: Enterprise
Woo hoo! Ending Democrat racism once and for all. Go, PDJT!

True, but for now I would accept the elimination of Clyburn’s district.

The politicians in these states must have realized that giving power to the “looting class” would impact their own quality of life, and that all they have to do is shift their position on the political spectrum to appeal to the new reality.

The sap-happy red southern state of SOUTH CAROLINA
supports the push to redistrict before the 2026 midterms.
SC will no doubt ELIMINATE radical Democrat Clyburn’s
District 6......a politically-calculated racial gerrymander.
The SC Attorney General affirms the SC General
Assembly “has the LEGAL AUTHORITY” to now redraw.

Awesome indeed, but is it moot for 2026 given the primaries are just 35 days away and Governor McMaster is apt not to rock the boat?
