A lot of it is donated, some of the increase is probably due to the growth of stock portfolios (e.g. Ford Foundation) and real estate evaluations.

Envy is the stock-in-trade of leftists. We should avoid the habit.

Just imagine how much money they dedicate to causing death, destruction, mayhem, riots, and the like in order to destroy the hated US.

It’s not envy and you damn well know that

It’s a realization NGO’s are being used as weapons and laundromats , robbing the wealth and financially enslaving generations of US Citizens.

Spit.

I’m sorry, but an NGO that thrives on taxpayer money is not Nongovernmental. It’s just a way around that pesky Constitution that ties government’s hands.

Exactly

Just one more example of deceptive nomenclature like

The Affordable Care Act.
( UNaffordable health care )

Or

The Federal Reserve
( Not federal, no control , no reserve ) The Democrat Party ( Ask Bernie about democracy )

NGOs and non-profits can be used for money laundering and terrorism financing, often exploited by bad actors for their public trust, high cash volume, and weak regulatory oversight. Criminals may use them to move, hide, or “clean” illicit money through fake donations, fraudulent fundraising, or diverting funds, sometimes with or without the knowledge of the organization’s staff.

Conquest's Second Law, formulated by historian Robert Conquest, states: "Any organization not explicitly and constitutionally right-wing will sooner or later become left-wing". Often referred to as O'Sullivan's Law, it suggests that without intentional, structural conservative constraints, organizations inherently drift toward progressive or left-wing ideologies over time.

For example, Henry Ford was many things but left wing was not one of them. He left a fortune to the Ford Foundation, which has followed a decidely leftward trajectory. The reason for the operation of Conquest's Second Law is summed up by Mencken's observation: "The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it. Power is what all messiahs really seek: not the chance to serve." NGO's and non-profits attract people on messianic ego trips, mostly of the distaff persuasion. The more feminized an organization becomes, the more left wing it grows.

“””.As of 2025, United States nonprofits held about $13.4–14.1 trillion in total assets.”””

This posting seems to be a bit deceptive.

The author first talks about NGOs. Then he talks about nonprofits.

What is it?

I want to know the assets of NGO’s and the assets of NON-NGO NONPROFITS.

I doubt the NGO’s have $14 trillion in assets.

As of 2025, United States nonprofits held about $13.4–14.1 trillion in total assets. Including cash, investments, real estate, etc.

And that means 14.2 Trillion (with a T) of accumulated wealth. And:

NO Income tax on profits

NO Real Estate taxes to support local government spending

NO Sales Taxes to support local government spending

NO need to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

Makes you wonder how many government budgets could be balanced with that kind of revenue available.

AND, how many hours of donated free labor from True Believer Volunteers?

According to allegations reported in early 2026, Rep. Ilhan Omar faced scrutiny for proposing a
$1 million taxpayer-funded Congressional earmark for a supposed “substance abuse clinic” that was reportedly located inside a “Somali restaurant.”

The place was operated by Somali individuals sharing a single residential address.

Critics alleged this was a fraudulent attempt to channel tax dollars to Somalis
already saddled with stealing tax dollars from multiple tax-funded programs.

GOP Senator Joni Ernst highlighted the case as a
suspicious “rehab clinic” in a Somali-owned restaurant.

Here’s another way they steal tax dollars.

Muslim Cong Ilhan Omar and husband, Tim Mynett, filed official govt documents attesting to assets valued between $6 million-$30 million – a 3,500% jump in net worth from 2023-2024.....inflated figures stemming from Mynett’s two businesses – a Santa Rosa, Ca-based winery and a venture capital firm headquartered in Washington, DC.

As Cletus D. Yokel brilliantly posted: “How many ‘Learing Centers’ did Mynett’s venture capital firms
pump start-up money to....... colluding w/ Omar that USAID tax dollars would pay him back.”

And how many USAID bills did Cong Omar vote for?

Somali Ilhan Omar proves that IQ has nothing to do with intelligence.
They are like roaches. Smart enough to thrive by taking advantage of stupid human systems.

all NGOs are nonprofit organizations. The term “NGO” (Non-Governmental Organization) refers to the operational independence of the entity from government control, while “nonprofit” refers to its financial structure (not distributing profits to owners). Because NGOs must operate independently and serve a public or social mission, they inherently function as nonprofits.

Even the ones we like.
