A group of Congolese refugees was seen protesting in Washington, DC, on Monday, calling on the US to increase its involvement in addressing violence in central Africa, despite data showing thousands from the region have already been resettled in the US in recent years.
According to reporting from the Daily Caller News Foundation, Congolese Tutsi demonstrators marched near the White House to protest against the governments of Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Activists accused both governments of carrying out anti-Tutsi violence and called on US officials to take stronger action.
One protester held a sign that read “Stop the erasure. Justice for BanyaMulenge & Tutsi.” Other protesters chanted “We need justice!”

How many North Carolina citizens agreed to this? How many even know this is happening?
A refugee "city" has been established in every southern state. They are overwhelming our schools, hospitals, and county budgets. Yet the people have no say-so about the issue.
For Georgia, it’s the city of Clarkston.
Known as the “Ellis Island of the South,” Clarkston, Georgia, has resettled over 40,000 to 60,000 refugees since the 1980s. Roughly 1,500 to 2,000 refugees formerly arrived annually in this small city of ~14,000 residents. Roughly half of the current population is estimated to be foreign-born, hailing from over 40-60 countries.
Opening ceremony for the Hussein flak tower.
Trump should arm them & send them home. They can restore justice themselves.
We could put refugee Houthis in South Carolina and host intertribal warfare!
What fun. Put it on Netflix as Pay-Per-View.
Resettle everyone of those Africans back to the motherland.
Not Ellis Island at all. The Clarkston population refuses to assimilate, is almost all on assistance and walks around in their native dress making no effort to adapt to this culture. I worked at the GA State campus there until very recently and know full well those people need to be sent home.
Congolese refugees demand more US govt help even as thousands resettled
in North Carolina......... sucking up tax dollars and endless taxpayer benefits
Another appalling Obama legacy-——the community organizer” whined that America was “too white.”
Media calls it “Ellis Island” to imprint a certain narrative in your mind. Manipulative suckers, aren’t they?
Disgusting ingrates.
Not only that, they obviously have contempt and disdain for this country given how soft it is and easy to scam the system.
It's time to stop the fantasy that they're all coming to better themselves through work ... and realize that the word is out that America is here to be scammed and its own elected leaders will not stop you.
They are unhappy here so send them back.
More fun than McDonalds or Waffle House videos!
Are they all in one designated area? If so, something I heard in Basic Training comes to mind: spread out, one grenade will get you all. He is an opportunity they cannot refuse, and live. All you all are being sent home on our dime and you will be given $1000 dollars in your native currency. On a cost basis, we come out ahead in six months for this one time cost. Now then, to those who don’t leave with this fair award, don’t look up.
Why are they still here? Deport this human garbage.
Unfortunately not all in one area. But they do shop a lot at a local farmer’s market where they nearly all use their public assistance Georgia Peach Card. They can rack up a big bill and pay a few dollars to get out with the best of everything.
Gonna need a bigger bomb.
Entitlement mentality infects everyone.
They need to be marching and demanding back home, where the problem is.
They need *justice*?
So do we. They won’t find it here.
