I have regained access to my account. It was hacked by someone in Queens, NY, who managed to sign in and lock me out of my account from all my devices.
Thank you @X and @allegrajacchia team for helping get my account back quickly! All types of fraudsters are coming at me 🤣

Nick may not be well spoken at times but he is brilliant in his efforts and his sense of where to to next. I remember his visits to panama and ecuador a few years ago tracking the movement of ‘migrants’ to the US, and his visit to El Salvador while it was becoming safer than the US, and his visit to criminal street vendors and refugee housing in NYC and so much more. I’m glad the ‘Learing center’ catapulted him to fame!

This happened to me about 6 weeks ago on FR. The only way I knew I had been hacked was that a fellow FReeper responded to a post that I didn’t write.
I’d hate to see him not live to reach the prime of his life.
Nick get a password manager for goodness sake! It is absolutely necessary these days.
Happened to me on FR, too, sort of. I wasn’t hacked, but someone posted a screen name very similar to my old one, and had gathered a few names off of a ping list. That was about 20 years ago.
You know you must be over a target when someone on the left decides to go the route of intimidation and targeting.

My computer guy is a wizard, but he couldn’t get rid of whatever @#$% that got into my computer. He had to completely strip it of everything and then reinstall my stuff from scratch..

If you had bipothered to look before posting you would see it was posted from another account.
That is BAD. I got spoofed yesterday. Thank God my husband was obsessed with watching “The Beekeeper” for several weeks. He recognised what the witch was doing and shut it down quickly!

I think that’s part of why I changed my screen name. Someone tried to mimic my old SN, and it caused a lot of confusion and consternation. These people are ruthless.
