Famous British right-wing activist Tommy Robinson has shared a clip of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary talking to GB News’ Miriam Cates on the social media site X.
In the short video, PM Orbán discusses mass migration into Europe. Cates suggests that despite the British people voting against mass migration in a number of elections in a row—presumably referring to the Conservative Party’s winning streak of four general elections between 2010 and 2019, along with the 2016 Brexit referendum—the United Kingdom still has had a high number of immigrants coming into the country every year. This is in contradiction to PM Orbán’s previous statements about European nations having the choice on the issue, as the reporter pointed out.
‘Many, many people in Europe are opposed to mass migration, and yet it has happened,’ Cates added.
To this, PM Orbán responded by highlighting how he managed to turn migration into a major winning issue for his party in Hungary, saying:
‘Democracy is a good thing. I turned to the people, and I said: migration is the issue. It’s not the issue of the political elite; it’s about the future of Hungary, your kids, your grandkids…And we had a referendum. They said no. So democracy helps. But, unfortunately, Hungary is the only country, as far as I know, to organize a referendum on migration in Western Europe.’

The EU tries to tell the European countries what to do. The citizens in most countries have no say in what happens. These countries should tell the EU to FOAD, but none seem to have even a linguini spine.
> The EU tries to tell the European countries what to do. <
And that’s because the EU bureaucrats see their member states as little more than provinces of the EU empire. And unfortunately, that’s pretty much correct.
A while back I was reading how the EU even dictates when kind of teapots EU citizens can and cannot use. It’s madness.
