Iraq has totally fallen off the radar. Our media does literally zero reporting on Iraq. Which is probably an indicator that it’s experiencing some measure of success, or at least isn’t a disaster.

It would be a real feather in our cap if Iraq and Iran turn out to be reasonably functional states, democracies even, who are at peace with each other and with the rest of the world.
