PHOENIX - One of the Republican candidates in this year's gubernatorial election in Arizona has announced that she will suspend her campaign.
What we know: In a post made on X, Karrin Taylor Robson said she is suspending her campaign, after "deep reflection, prayer, and many conversations with my family."
"We cannot afford a divisive Republican primary that drains resources and turns into months of intraparty attacks," read a portion of her statement. "It only weakens our conservative cause and gives the left exactly what they want, a fractured Republican Party heading into November. With so much on the line in 2026, I am not willing to contribute to that outcome."

61 y/o not-so-hottie(those things count). If the GOP wins she’ll be either 65 or 69 before she runs again. The job is important-don’t know about her political future.
If one wants an example of a totally incompetent Republican Party, just look at the People’s Republic of Colorado. Here, the RATs have absolutely no competition and are currently outdoing themselves with the leftist standard combo of no knowledge of economics, morals, the law, and civilized standards.
Ran out of money eh?
You must not live in Arizona. She is married to one of the wealthiest men in Arizona and is a prolific fundraiser.
Could it be she is being truthful about not wanting to splinter the party and that having a republican win is more important than her own ego? I know it’s hard to fathom after watching demoncrats for so long but it may be just that simple.
I would like to think she is being honest. Az has a history of base vote splitting which allowed treasonous scumbags like Mctraitor and Flake to slide in through the back door.
