Words mean things. There is no reason or justification to arrest a protester.
“Turned violent”. What do you call them? The duly sworn legal authorities determined at some point, it was no longer a lawful assembly and ordered them to disperse.
I’m no bootlicker, but civil authorities must maintain control of their communities. This is why we pay taxes. That is their job. It’s also why we don’t have citizens vigilance committees and that kind of thing. Too many mayors and district attorneys and city council members across the nation are in dereliction of their duties and are putting both the public and civil authorities at risk. This must stop.
How much are they being fined?
There will be no punishment.
