Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura says the people of his state should consider leaving the United States. In an interview on the SpinSisters podcast that premiered Saturday, Ventura pitched his plan by saying that it’s clear President Donald Trump doesn’t want the state.
“How about since Trump dislikes Minnesota so bad and we’re so out of control, let’s join Canada. Instead of Canada becoming the 51st state of America and lose their healthcare.... I’d like to see Minnesota, all of us become Canadians,” Ventura said. Make this part of Canada, because it’s obvious Donald Trump don’t want us. It’s obviously he’s ready to fracture the whole country for his own folly."
Ventura went on to say that he’s serious about officials reaching out to Canada to see if Canada would be willing to accept Minnesota into the country. However, there’s no chance that it could happen without approval from Congress or force.
An outspoken critic of Trump, Ventura verbally attacked the president throughout the interview placing blame for tensions in the state on Trump and accusing Trump of being a draft dodger. Ventura also said Trump made a mistake in making Minnesota the unofficial battleground for immigration reform in the U.S.
“He picked the wrong people I think to fight with. My first choice would not have been to pick Minnesota to do this. We Minnesotans, I mean, they elected me,” Ventura said. “We are a state of independent thinkers. We think for ourselves for the most part. We understand and we have pride in who we are.”

Acceptable
This is the first time I have ever agreed with Jesse Ventura. Great idea!
Why does the song, “Take the Money and Run,” come to mind....
This would be healthy for the US.
Eh?
“””“How about since Trump dislikes Minnesota so bad and we’re so out of control, let’s join Canada. Instead of Canada becoming the 51st state of America and lose their healthcare.... I’d like to see Minnesota, all of us become Canadians,” Ventura said. “”””
The tard has come out from his hole to babble again.
Trump loves Minnesota, hates Minneapolistan. Ventura can’t figure that out.
We’ll trade it for Alberta.
1 for 1 - Alberta for Minnesota and 2 states to be named later.
How about we trade? Alberta for Minnesota.
OK, OK...we’ll trade you Minnesota for Alberta. Twist our arms a little and we might even throw in Washington State.
I vote for Illinois and NY.
Steele Dossidiots in Minnesota should just flee to Canada..
I don’t think the United States is going to give up the real estate.
Well, why would they want to do that? They’re inconvenient state is nothing but a cash cow for the state politicians with a gushing tap on the US federal money
Canada’s not going to do that for them
Jesse Ventura. Marroon
They are a state of independent thinkers? What the heck?
When is the last time Minnesota voted for a Republican for president? If they are so independent, how is it, the collective judgements of the voters, is to always vote Democrat ?
That’s exactly what the president is trying to do: get illegal aliens to leave the United States. And if all the other lunatics in Minneapolis want to leave, too? Well . . . bye.
We accept your terms.
Well...... Let’s trade Minnesota for Alberta. For WEEKS the Albertans have been lining up by the thousands, in FREEZING cold, to sign a petition to leave The People’s Republic Of Canada.
Perhaps during the above trade deal, regular Americans who are trapped in Minnesota could get a stipend to move to Alberta.
“” I’d like to see Minnesota, all of us become Canadians,” Ventura said.””
Yo J, might want to check and see if they even want Minnesota because lately... I’m thinking that would be a NO.
.
Ventura- Your terms are acceptable...Sh!t, lets throw in Maine, Washington & Oregon while were at it.
