Rapper Nicki Minaj took the stage alongside President Donald Trump on Wednesday, where she called herself his “number one fan.”
Minaj appeared at an event celebrating the upcoming launch of “Trump Accounts,” which intends to give $1,000 to every newborn, invest that money in the stock market and then give the child access to the funds on their 18th birthday. The famous rapper, who has become a vocal political advocate in recent months, said that the “smear campaigns” against Trump only motivate her to love him more.
“Well, I don’t know what to say, but I will say that I am probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change, and the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all,” Minaj said. “It actually motivates me to support him more, and it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more. We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him and, you know, the smear campaigns.”
The rapper pledged to contribute between $150,000 and $300,000 to fund her fans’ Trump accounts, also known as Section 530A accounts, and argued that it will give children “a major head start in life.” It is currently unclear who would be eligible to receive Minaj’s contributions.
“Shark Tank” co-star Kevin O’Leary also joined the stage with Trump and Minaj.
Minaj has turned into a prominent voice in the U.S. conservative movement. She accompanied United Nations Ambassador Mike Waltz to the United Nations in November 2025 to speak out against Christian persecution in Nigeria and call on the U.N. to provide Christians with “peace and security.”
Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk welcomed Minaj at a surprise Q & A at AmericaFest in December, where the rapper took aim at Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom and expressed her support for Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance.

Rapper is a bad rap, but she does good work. Go Nicki.
She obvious has “F You” money.
Nicki has been a pleasant surprise. An unlikely ally.
What makes her so bold, as to leave the plantation (at least for now), to buck the system? For one thing, she herself is an immigrant from Trinidad, not yet naturalized. Another thing is, Nicki is worth at least $190 million dollars.
She has made her money, and has no fear of ‘being cancelled’ by fickle fans.
Nicki has expressed surprise that she hasn’t already received honorary citizenship, considering how much money she has paid in taxes and salaries over the years.
The only women having babies in the U.S. in significant numbers with no abortions are the illegals, the Chinese, the Somalians, and the Muslims. Are their anchor babies the ones getting all this taxpayer money? Who’s crazy idea was this anyway? Ivanka’s?
I don't know her or her music, but I did get a few clues from what you posted.
She's made her money, and hasn't gone for US citizenship. She could go back to Trinidad and live a life of ease.
Many performers end their careers by going into politics, maybe Trump might need an ambassador?

I respect her as an entertainer who knows her audience and has made a ton of money, but I generally do not like Rap, let alone the “Slut-Rap” that is her main product.
Be that as it may, hope springs eternal. People are capable of changing over a long period of time, so who knows where she could end up.
She’s doing a stellar job of keeping her clothes on, here lately, even moreso than Kim Kardashian, who was supposedly trying to become a lawyer.

It’s always nice to see a person, whether famous or not, who is unafraid to form their own opinions and speak their mind without fear. THAT is what America was founded on.
She is really a rotten person and satanic musician. But anything that helps get the “urban” vote is fine. The GOP needs to fight the democrat terrorists with every weapon they have.

I don’t trust her. It is like every other magical melanated conservative superstar. The GoP fawns over them every chance they get just to have it blow up in their face, as usual. Colin Powell. Condaleeze Rice. Candace Owens. I hope she is the genuine article, but her nasty persona and satanic music doesn’t give me hope.
There's a process and a path. My ancestors followed it. She should do the same.
