All that does is steal more money from the taxpayer. The elected officials responsible should be arrested and serve a long stretch in prison.
You would think, but it’s basically impossible to sue governments and government actors for doing such things.
A good federal law would be:
“A state, any subdivision of a state, and all persons who assisted in such state action, individually (each a “State Actor”) shall be, jointly and severally, strictly liable for all damages incurred by all persons injured or killed by a person unlawfully in the USA against whom a detainer request was issued (an “Illegal Alien”) to such State Actor by any branch of the federal government and the State Actor or State Actors refused or failed to honor the detainer request and the Illegal Alien committed a crime, tort, or other violation of law that was a producing cause of the damages.
