Up here in the great white north we already had Thanksgiving in early October. My sister and I are on the same page politically. It was a pleasant repast and politics never came up. All the best wishes for Freepers this Thursday.
When your life stinks because you are angry at yourself yet trying to blame everyone else for your problems...you want everyone else to be as unhappy as you are.
Most of my relatives would be Freepers. NOT my husband’s, though.
Naaah, just laugh at them. Nutjobs cannot tolerate being mocked. Especially if their asinine positions have been validated by worse nutjobs.

It’s the young, college-educated idiots in the family that are the lefties and want to talk about the evils of Trump, Trump, Trump. They are set in their beliefs and impervious to any counter debate - THEY are right and YOU are wrong.
It’s still early enough for me to cancel and stay home with my dogs...

Try that at MY home!!!! We always have very animated and sometimes heated discussions but anyone taking a cheap shot gets the wrath of EVERYONE.
We had 100+ at our “cousins’ reunion” in 2022, ages from newborn to 98 (Mom). Everyone was/is on the same page politically, and we had a ball. It was a little bit of Heaven!
