GOP Might Need Trump-Centric Midterm Convention To Boost Turnout
WOAI ^ | Nov 20, 2025 | Andre Perrard

While the Democrat wins were nothing special in this year's elections, they did manage to win them in convincing fashion. Republican candidates once again faltered, albeit in blue states, but struggled to gain any momentum toward pulling an upset. That is not due to a lack of voter base. That is due to a lack of turnout because Donald Trump was not involved in the ballot.

Now as we approach 2026, the midterm elections are approaching, and while Trump will obviously not be on the ballot, he actually is to an extent. Even in a symbolic sense. So, to move the needle and keep Republican voters engaged, the GOP might need to consider having a Trump-entered Republican convention before the midterms.

David Marcus of Fox News says one big event, where Trump can tout his achievements in office, could go a long way.

"By then, the Big, Beautiful Bill stuff will have kicked in...and he can just get up and say 'you are not just voting for congressmen...you are voting for my agenda,'" he says.

Because of all the chaos going on in Washington, it is hard for people to forget what achievements he has made. The flow of illegal immigration has almost come to a full stop, the economy is beginning to turnaround, and he has saved the federal government hundreds of billions of dollars with the Department of Government Efficiency.

But of course, the mainstream media only focuses on hit pieces and negativity, so it is hard to see past the smoke to the clearing. That was evident in the November elections this year, where Republican candidates failed to gain any true traction without Trump's typical rallying self.

“and he has saved the federal government hundreds of billions of dollars with the Department of Government Efficiency”

That was Elon, Bessent said he only found 20 billion, and Trump got rid of him. Congress refused to codify any part of DOGE. Now it’s hundreds of billions and Trump did it.

The GOP doesn’t get it.

They have NO idea why Trump is so popular and until they do and start acting like it, they’re going to continue to lose on us.

The strategy is this. Circling on PA, Wi, and MI. Used the red state va Blue State model. The MI Senate races is going our way. Blue Statescare hopeless. Foccus on turing the purple States red.

We have a TN7 election on December 2nd where Trump won by 22 points. We BETTER win that. Although it’s not getting much coverage from GOP.

Trump promising what he’ll do is more compelling than Trump not doing what he promised, so Campaign Don has more elective power than In-Office Don.

Uhm, he has done a huge amount. Just the regulations and red tape removed have key industries revving up. Energy and Ag come immediately to mind.

Not to mention the Military ranks swelling up like sponges in a rain storm.

60 million illegals here and no intention to deport most of them.

And virtually nothing he has done has been put into law by Congress, so it will evaporate as quickly as Trump I did under Biden.

I have seen a proud new Latin papa bring his newborn son out to meet me after they got home from the hospital. The boy's name is Eric. He is beautiful.

You’re a traitor to Americans if you think replacement illegals are acceptable.
