It's part of the White House. You know ... where the President lives? You don't suppose that maybe the construction will be a bit sturdier than your standard Dan Ryan suburban development house?
I guess I was stuck on its purely utilitarian function as a venue for large state events and less as a fitting, working monument to Trump’s Presidency. Something built to last into the next century and too valuable to tear down on a whim by a future President Brandon II.
