Without further clarification that is scripturally not defensible, they need to be specific as to what the sin is. If his description of their issue is accurate it sounds like they are injecting their will over scripture, it is not difficult to call out sin with scripture. Very poor doctrine and possibly false doctrine if that is the only thing they can bring against him.
I would run from that church and find one filled with the Holy Spirit.

Keene is a lot more patient and tolerant than I am. The church would have asked me to come in. I would have told them my post is nunya. If they pressed one nanometer further, I’d have told them to get stuffed and I’d never have returned.
That’s not a church, it’s the usual “horray for everything” crap and that is NOT Biblical.

I’m kind of anticipating a similar conversation at the church I attend regarding some positions we’ve taken.
Notice I didn’t say “my church?” The only reason we stick around is that we work with a ministry that meets at the church and they’ll shut it down if we leave.
