What is becoming obvious? The EU wants war….most likely outcome? The EU collapses, and Ukraine ceases to exist as a nation.

Let’s hope President Trump is aware of the EU’s plans, and he doesn’t allow them to drag us into a war which isn’t ours.

What has become obvious is that Putin wants, hopes and prays for WWIII.

Those NATO promises were made to a Yeltsin post Soviet government that wanted to live with, maybe even become part of the democratic Western world.

When Yeltsin drank himself out of a job and unreformed communists like Putin took charge, NATO had to face a new reality.

What is becoming obvious is the repeated lie that NATO guaranteed the Russians NATO would not expand to the East.

Here is a discussion about the claims it did:

I don’t agree. Russia needs a warm water port. They want the Russian provinces of Ukraine. The people who live there speak Russian, and are ok with becoming part of Russia. It sounds more to me like the (very) old guard is trying to revive their Cold War glory days just like during the “Russia,Russia,Russia” hoax. The corrupt money laundering pols in this country have much to lose if Ukraine falls.

NATO did, however, move Eastwards towards Russia, and the rest is history

Promise or not, NATO moved east not by conquering countries that would've preferred to remain under Russian control, but by eastern European countries begging us to protect them from Russian aggression - like in Ukraine.

There are no “Russian provinces” of Ukraine. There are Russians in the Donbas, some AWOL Russian troops, fighting with the Ukraine military.

Putin instigated his proxy war in the Donbas, using subversion via the FSB and special forces to manufacture the “separatist” movement that as an excuse and “justification” for his invasion.

What Putin wants is a revived Russian empire. He has said so.

Every now and then Putin thumbs his nose at the west's changing culture promoting more and more hedonism (he's right). I don't know if that's just diplo-speak and he's really just an unreformed KGB agent wanting to regrow Russia's boundaries.

Or if Putin truly has some motive to protecting Russia's country and culture from a west that not only was encroaching NATO onto his backdoor, but also bringing more Muslim control that Russia vehemently fought back against as recently as WW1, as well as pushing LGBTQ hedonism that always destroys a culture.

As much as this Cold War baby hates to admit it, the future of Europe may depend on Russia and Hungary.

I don’t think Russia or European leaders want WWIII.

But Russia has been an expansionist power for several hundred years. Those in power in Russia have not been willing to become a free market economy. Thus Russia is mostly a petroleum state.

The Russian leadership keeps the Russian people paranoid and wary in order to maintain control.

From the Tsars on, keeping war going on some Russian front has been a way to maintain power. It does not always work out well for Russia.

An interesting and odd link:

Title, tweet from DD Geopolitics, tweet from Chay Bowes, and a tweet from ivan_8848. Then....

...accompanied by 3 Amazon ads, 2 Viagra ads, 2 ivermectin ads, 2 BitIRA ads, a donation meter raising $60K ($39 K so far), multiple other "donate" methods, and more. And embedded, inquires go to Quinn Advisors which places ads and ads and ads.

A bare-bones blog is seeking as much money as content-stuffed Free Republic.

WW3 is inevitable and it’s all being orchestrated by the NWO/WEF ruling elite for their own purposes of more wealth, power and control.

The overly debt burdened EU is on the verge of collapse economically and sees war with Russia as the only way out. It seems that a form of collective insanity has taken over the Western world. And of course the US will be drawn into this because the fate of the dollar is at stake.

---- "...hidden 3rd party API scripts ...."

Thanks for the additional insight. It seems a number of posts appearing in Free Republic are essentially "harvesting" sites looking for money, for data from users / readers, and of course all while....

Dear FRiends, Our FReepathon is now over 53%, but we still have $37.4k to go and less than 26 days to get there! Please keep those donations coming in and let's wrap this baby up as soon as we can. Thank you very much and God bless you. 9/6/2025, 9:36:57 AM · by Jim Robinson

Numbers.

Natural Gas. Europe’s endowment of it has been depleting rapidly (gas disappears underground faster than oil, because it flows more readily).

Europe consumes 468 billion cubic meters/year. This is in decline from the 2008 timeframe. They never really recovered society from the GFR, but the other factor is:

Europe gas production is a disaster. The North Sea was primary source of domestic natgas and it peaked in the early to mid 2000s. Total production Norway and UK (both in decline) about 200 bcm/yr. So they must have 268 bcm/yr from elsewhere.

Gas has one aspect vs oil that provides some mild hope. Gas doesn’t deliver food to store shelves. Oil / diesel does that. This means nuclear reactors can substitute for gas (where they cannot for oil, electric power can’t push refrigerated trucks to get food to shelves before it spoils).

So electricity from reactors. Or coal. Both are being refused. Because of Chenobyl and Fukishima and coal because of Green.

Yes, this is the formula for war.

The seven-year WWIII will start with Russia and Iran invading Israel and being utterly defeated miraculously (Ez. 38-39), and will end with Armageddon where Christ and his legions from heaven utterly destroy his enemies - the rest of the world under the “son of perdition” AKA “the beast” (”a vile man”) (an Assyrian I believe).

The only ones remaining on earth after WWIII will be a remnant of Israel hiding in the Jordanian mountains.

Coming soon, in a few decades IMO, but not yet.

Israel’s Leviathon offshore natural gas field offshore will somewhat max output at 20 billion cubic meters/year.

This is peanuts. Zero attraction for the two natgas behemoths of Russia and Iran.
