Hmmm. I think you badly underestimate the contributions of Rubio, Bessent, Hegseth, and Wright, for example.
Rubio did not show much fight when he was in charge of the senate intelligence committee overseeing the Russia hoax.
Gabbard is a class act and when questioned why she uncovered things in relatively plain sight that neither Rubio and his committee nor Ratliffe who was briefly head of DNI didn’t see, she refused to throw shade on either.
I agree Rubio has done admirable work as Secretary of State.
My point was regression to the mean when Trump is no longer in charge.
