My son was in California recently doing some work. Taco Bell was $60 for 3 people.
Note how Burger King has to display up pictures of the burgers, with the number of patties, for the illiterate.
Anything to drive sales ...
Of course, the madness of California. Said years ago raising the minimum wage was going to cause everything to go up.
We’re having Schlotzsky’s now. 10 homemade originals using a copycat recipe with their sourdough bun and garlic spread recipes for what 1 costs at the window. Have been making them for 20 years so have saved a ton.
Hey when the minimum wage is $20 an hour or whatever it is now in the not so golden state that’s what you get in prices.
Yep!
Eat. At. Home!
Jeez...
Wendy’s started that.
Dave realized doubles weren’t selling like singles. Pictures weren’t helping so he came up with the triple. Almost by default doubles sales climbed.
That's crazier than a chocolate whopper.
This kind of price gouging cannot be because of minimum wage.
And have you noticed the fast-food workers seem to just slap things together these days and not care a wit about the food quality? I got two overpriced tacos with hardly anything in them recently. They were literally just 3/4s empty shells with hardly any lettuce and a tiny speck of cheese. It was a FF place called Baker’s here in SoCal that I’ll never ever go to again.
The legislature and our idiot governor hair gel want to increase the min wage up to $30 an hour here now. I kid you not.
The “living wage” BS again.
Not that it changes anything about Newscum but that looks like an airport Burger King.
It’s not an airport.
I see there are six
BKs in San Francisco. Two are downtown and the video doesn’t say which of the six it is. It’s true that the minimum wage increase has jacked up the price of fast food in CA, but particularly if the location was one of the downtown ones, this is to be expected. Eating is extremely expensive in SF, particularly downtown and in the tourist areas along the waterfront
If he keeps raising the min. wage, his governor’s pay might not be enough. Never mind it causes the dollar to shrink so any savings he has will plummet.
I know the one on Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco. It is the BK of choice for the homeless bums that stay in the alley nearby.
A meal of 9 oz baked salmon with broccoli spears, house salad and freshly made bread is $27 in Florida including tax. I tip $5.
What else would you expect when the dhimmicraps run amok in government?
California gets the government it elects.
Let ‘em go broke
