Shocker on this one, but worth posting and a good read. Love this pub. Why Ben Domenich left it or sold it is beyond my understanding.

It’s amazing that no one ever thought of this before. /S

But all the TV ads (and sitcoms) show independent, strong, ambitious women who have to save the day for wimpy, dumb males.

“Limits” TV ad, also known as “Is that a buffalo.”
One concession was the woman allowed the male to drive the car which she wouldn’t do in real life.

Dig into the article and one finds that some of the "studies" are from the sPew "Research" Center and 'The Atlantic'. This is propaganda designed to combat the declining birth rate.

"Happiness" doubles? From the article: ...11% of married mothers and 9% of married women without children feel lonely most or all of the time, compared to 23% of unmarried mothers and 20% of unmarried childless women...

Knowing such "surveys" easily have a +- 5% margin of error, there may be nothing there at all.

Tax and debt slavers need to keep up the value of their assets; the affects on families and society be damned.

Other than these tax and debt slavers, who would want to prevent a population adjustment downwards? The population explosion and migrations, to fuel global industrial work over the last century and a half, are an unnatural series of events, not the adjustment downwards.

Are single women miserable ... or are miserable women single?

Hmmm ... I actually happen to know a bull-dyke. She’s generally quite personable and friendly. To men, anyway ... she acts like one of the guys. I think perhaps she gets all her aggression out playing roller derby. Her “partner” is a snippy little witch.

Early in, she explains, “Marriage, it seemed, was this: the eternal return of trash on my floor.”

Then, sweetie, that’s what it is…for YOU. Because that what’s in YOUR head. Kinda stupid having gotten married in the first place. So go and get whatever education you need, get a job and make a huge happy success of yourself. Then try try try to please STFU. (Why do I suspect that last to be impossible for you?)

Most miserable women I know are single. Maybe that is why.

It's not likely causality but instead, their misery and single status are more likely co-symptoms of other conditions. "Having a baby to save their relationship" is a sick endeavor that leads to severe trauma for the children, and these miserable women may have been conceived with the same intent themselves. Marriage and children are not going to change their outlook. Their mothers apparently thought so but these younger generations are quite aware of how messed up they are and are determined to avoid subjecting any children of their own to the same situation by not having children.

With the chart in Post 8 in mind, you don't quintuple a worldwide population in such a short time span without encouraging a lot of deficient people from following a cohabitation and breeding model they're ill-equipped for.

We are pack animals. We must have strong social bonds to other people. We are so dependent on those bonds that if other people are not available and often even if they are, we will form social bonds with animals and even inanimate objects.

The longer those relationships are the stronger they are and the stronger we become.

I have no idea why this seems to be a controversial concept.

From "It is not good for man to be alone" to "No man is an island" it has been a recognized part of the human condition forever. We punish people by forcing them to be alone.

Are the women miserable because they aren’t married?

Or are they unmarried because they are miserable?

If they stay single; that might mean one miserable person.

If they get married; that might be two miserable people.

If they have children; that might be cross-generational misery for several people.

"Most miserable women I know are single. Maybe that is why."

I got rid of my philandering husband 46 years ago. Raised my two sons by myself. I found out all those years ago that I'd rather live alone and be happy, then live with someone and be totally miserable. It was the best thing I ever did after having my sons. My ex remarried and moved out of state, never telling his sons he was leaving. He has had no contact by his choice with his two sons for over 30 years, and has no clue his youngest son is a cancer survivor. The three of us would have never accomplished the things we did in our lives had we been tied to that loadstone all these years.

Lyz Lenz; another feminist detonating her marraige and “living her best life”. Her advice is terrible for individuals and society, basically another misandrist using the government and courts to transfer wealth to single women.

For normal people marriage and family are happiness.

Bitter miserable old coots who have managed to alienate everyone around them because they are horrible people will say differently of course.

Their deep and malevolent desire is to make everyone else as nasty as they are.

“Most miserable women I know are single. Maybe that is why.”
My mother who had 4 husbands was miserable!
I respected her as my mother but I despised her as a person.
I told that to her face and in a Court to eliminate her legal control of my 12 year old body. I was allowed to go live with my father and his new family by Court order.

As a man married 48 years now, I have this observation.
Women that have a set view of life and cannot compromise will be miserable in their personal lives.
Consequently, they are single or married and alone.
A woman like that will have problems with her children, especially Sons.
