“Cannon fodder” is a term used to describe combatants thought to be expendable. Those who send “cannon fodder” into battle have little regard for their well-being. A high casualty rate they see as the price to pay for accomplishing some strategic goal, in the case in question, the removal of Donald Trump from the battlefield.
The question needs to be asked, why did Democrat strategists push Black officials into the forefront of their lawfare campaign against Donald Trump? With the exception of Special Counsel Jack Smith, nearly every high-profile prosecution was spearheaded by Black attorneys, judges, and committee chairs like Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, Tanya Chutkan, and Bennie Thompson. They became the public face of the campaign to “get Trump,” even as they bore the personal and professional risks of failure.
Make no mistake, Democrats intentionally used Black prosecutors because of their race. On the most basic level, Black prosecutors would have a stronger pull over Black jurors and White liberal jurors as well.

I’ve always felt that when the grandees of the Democrat party have some really radical, outrageous, and stupid political theater to carry out (which they would never directly do themselves) they call on a woke black woman to do it.

Black democrat politicians and bureaucrats are almost all corrupt and very obedient slaves to their owners in the DNC. They hold a massive chip on their shoulders and run their fiefdoms to get one over on whitey. Look at Detroit. Coleman Young started the ball rolling to turn Detroit in to what it is today. Once great cities destroyed by black democrat politicians. The phony prosecutors and judges obey their masters.

How do you mean? Anita Hill, a black woman, accused Thomas of sexual harassment way after the fact...and only after he had been nominated to the court (Funny how these accusations only surface after someone is about to be promoted. It would be much more believable if legal accusations were made the next day....but I digress).
It’s an interesting legal question whether it is equal justice under the law when these extreme efforts are only launched in the most radical/unbalanced political jurisdictions in the country (E.g., Manhattan, Atlanta, etc.). I was expecting that Madison, WI, was not far behind, in that they had entire precincts with literally 0 Trump votes in 2016/2020/2024.

Corrupt black prosecutors are cannon fodder at their own choosing. They’re so arrogant, they believe they can’t be touched for their illegal actions.
Anita Hill ultimately was the point person. It’s on her.
Because they were the only ones dumb enough to do the deed that Dems demanded of them, because they were such bad lawyers they had no idea how awful what they are doing would look to actual lawyers, and would look to the public in general.
Sacrificed? These corrupt black prosecutors were happy to do it (except perhaps for Alvin Bragg). Fanni Willis made a bundle of money and had her 15 minutes of fame while performing the self-righteous routine she enjoys so much.
They were chosen because they were willing, enjoyed the attention and because the left liked the optics (i.e. poor oppressed black justice warrior stands up to white man).
