Don’t they already have “No Smoking” signs?

Right? Next they are gonna be calling for weed free zones, background check requirements on pipes and limits on bong size. Anything over 1' requires a $200 tax stamp. Whoa, dude. I think "Conservatives" actually LOVE big government, so long as its THEIR big government.

It’s more than a theory it’s the reality. Take it from someone who has been a life long consumer of cannabis. Back in the 60’s an oz of marijuana contained the much less potent leaf material so it was common to roll a fat joint. Then in the latter 70’s most ounces were primarily bud material which is significantly more potent so people would roll ‘pin joints’. One would titrate the dosage according to the strength of the marijuana.

What about the millions of people who live near major commercial airports? They get dusted with jet exhaust 24/7 all their lives....

I remember when weed was usually smoked behind closed doors. The occasional concert was the exception.

Weed shuts off whatever it is in your brain that makes you care what others think. Whenever and wherever weed use goes up, STD rates, unemployment rates, unplanned pregnancy rates, welfare-dependency rates, and crime rates follow. Put simply, weed makes people stupid and lazy.

I was a teenager in the 1960s. I’ve seen this movie before. It doesn’t end well.

I would posit Alcohol is much more a social drug than weed.

I once met the two cable TV executives who had tried to make money in selling a device that facilitated growing weed and marketed it in High Times and importing shipping containers full of the stuff needed to grow hydroponically (a race to the bottom as they described it).

What they shared was very illuminating but what really stuck out as a major problem they discovered is weed for most people has a antisocial effect. Especially the people who smoke enough that they want to grow their own - they just don't share.

The other thing was they had a program to buy the grow machine using credit - they told me there had never been a product that had more defaults according to whoever they were using to handle the credit/payment plan aspect.

When I inquired as to if they thought the antisocial aspect was due to the legal status - they said no much more just the nature of the drug and those who use it all the time.

The high potency I think even makes more antisocial

New Yorkers are laughing at Ruud, thinking that if a smell is his worst experience in NYC, he’s living in a much safer area then most.

Weed smokers have few options if they live in an apartment or a condo.

In Seattle, you get evicted from apartments if you smoke anything inside.

Most new condos are non-smoking.

If you walk around outside, street people immediately show up and ask for hits on your weed.

Many people drive around to smoke, which is really foolish, since it is treated like drunk driving.

Anyway, my thinking has always been if marijuana is illegal, alcohol should be illegal, too.

I’ve got news for him...it’s almost everywhere. The leftists have convinced almost everyone that not only is pot harmless but it’s also good for you. It’s “medicine”. I know he’s pro-pot but I wish Trump would have a war on marijuana. That would really hurt the cartels.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Most conservatives I know are not followers and are basically, "Leave me the hell alone" types. And considering how our "Society" has evolved, who can blame them for avoiding others?

I have a ‘weird cult-like devotion’ to people not telling me what I can or can’t do, say, read, write, carry for protection, *or* put in my body. Anyone who thinks they should have any input on the foregoing without quantitative proof that my doing so is depriving them of life, liberty, or property needs a parabellum in the cerebellum.

And I don’t even like the way the stuff smells, and yes, forcing others to ingest second-hand smoke unwillingly should be illegal as hell

Looking at how society has evolved, I don't need anything to make me anti-social. I've been there a looong time!
