Vance/Rubio.

Tulsi has done a great job but so that’s not meant to take anything away from her.

Tulsi as Secretary of State or another high-level cabinet position in a V/R administration

Vance and Rubio. Rubio is going to bring over more of the old time Republicans than Gabbard who was a Bernie Sanders Democrat. Also, the war party will be more comfortable with Rubio than with Gabbard.

Rubio: Form your own opinion, this applies to anyone.

There are FReepers who have knee-jerk negative (or positive) opinions regarding various politicians. I try to keep an open mind and trust how I feel.

All three are superb members of the Trump Administration TEAM.

And at this stage of the admin’s fight to M.A.G.A., it’s important to keep them a TEAM.

Pitting them against each other with talk of 2028 POTUS is short sighted and harmful to the critical cause. And for what? Sport?

You are so right. There is no way he could ever win an election again after that moment. Or even serve in any capacity. Never mind that he won re-election twice after that, and is now serving as Secretary of State. But he absolutely destroyed his political career.

“Rubio destroyed his political career when Chris Christie exposed him as a dope in that epic 2016 debate exchange.”

Only if Vance shaves!

We haven't had a president with a beard since 1893. Interestingly, all of our presidents with beards were Republicans.

Would Trump have picked him as SoS if that were true?

Tucker / Bannon

No to Vance (and Vivek): both creations of Peter Thiel

Vance didn’t even serve two full years in the Senate. And it’s worth noting that he never had any political career before that.

Paxton definitely! He was the one person that warned trump in 2020 what was going on. And protected texas from the fraud.

“Only if Vance shaves!”

Disagree. IMO, he’s one of the few men who looks better with a beard. Without one - super dork.

Vance was a marine though. I am an Air Force officer where backstabbing is the #1 way to get promoted. I saw it first hand. That’s why I went joint and I loved working with marines above all other Services. They don’t have that backstabbing mentality. They will tell you to your face what they think. For me that’s a bonus for Vance.

I like Homan but he’s a one-trick pony. He’s been laser focused on immigration for decades (which is wonderful). It’s doubtful that he has a broad base of skills and knowledge that a VP should have.

The problem is, if the vice president wants the nomination and you take it away from him, a split in the party is likely. Vance may not be the ideal candidate, but is Rubio likely to be more MAGA than Vance? Is he more likely to win?

Neither Rubio or Tulsi are Natural Born Citizens.

But if they see who we support others may try to emulate them. That’s the point of this thread. Let the followers that think they are leaders where the train is going.

Have you seen his recent interviews where he smacks down reporters. That’s what has changed my opinion of him. I think he is in fact very very smart. He was just misguided early on. I have a 138 IQ and I can tell he’s a smart guy, but maybe easily mislead.
