Ouch! I think you misread that passage in the book as sarcasm - people in the late 1800s and early 1900s spoke and communicated quite a bit differently than modern writers. The passage and book spoke reverently about Holy Scripture, and I do also. I did not take the passage the way you interpreted it (unfortunately) at all. I read it as clearly meaning simply “that is all the Bible said about Japheth,” as a transition to historical Armenian accounts.
