don’t even know this pickle ball... sounds a bit kinky to me
I assume you’ve heard of Cornhole?
No, they didn’t. I gave up on them then and haven’t looked back. I grew up playing baseball and played 7 years of Pee Wee ball. Baseball was different back then. Agres 6-12 played on the same teams.
Now I don’t watch even the World Series. I went to a minor league game last year for the first time since the 90’s.
Ha... ha... yep... got a board here at the house.
Funny story... worked with a youngster years ago at a dealership turning wrenches. One day I inquired of him whether him and his wife would like to accompany me down to a festival that was going on in a small Central Texas town. One of the events was a cornhole competition... told him he would enjoy it immensely and to wear something comfortable. He looked at me... his eyes as big as saucers and says “ I don’t know what you country boys do for fun around these parts but I’m not interested in any cornholing”. Realizing he was clueless, I say “Come on man, you just gotta hit the hole three times in a row” at which point (and I didn’t think this was possible) his eyes got even bigger. He politely refused my offer while I continued to pester him the next two hours about what a good time he would have and I’d hate for him and his wife to miss out on all the fun.
You just can’t show some people a good time... I suppose. To this day, it still cracks me up when it crosses my mind.
Yes, the reason for all this is
* A bad spirit
* It’s systemic now. They’re out of place, away from “Adam”, and their homes.
* The truly prayed up, and in the Word, can sense this bad spirit.
* MAGA, Isaiah 59:19, raised up in parallel, came against such spirits.
You stole that line from Kamala, didn't you?
LOL!!!!
That's your opinion of a 2D picture of a 3D subject. Post #22 explains it perfectly......
Your opinion, while wrong, is still appreciated......
Your opinion and everyone has one. See Post #22. I'll go with his before yours.....
Softball is just an excuse for drinking beer.
The pitch doesn't look like a breaking pitch. And even the best breaking pitches don't break 10 or 12 inches across the plate. The pitch was about 10 inches outside the zone.
So stop it with your nonsense
Be quiet and pay attention..
Home plate is about 16" long.
The production visual aid shows 2D, width and height, at the catchers mitt.
A good breaking ball curves about 17.5 from the pitcher's hand, on a straight, to the catchers mitt, which is a distance of 60' 6".
So a ball curves about 1" every 4'.
There is no physical way a ball observed two demensionally 10" off the zone at the catchers mitt, ever crossed the plate.
So stop it with your nonsense
No, you should stop repeating a mindless talking point and do the ******* math.
Okay, I read post #22. Here's what it said:
"Agree. It tailed a bit inside as it crossed the plate, but I don't think it was an egregiously bad strike call. I've seen plenty of pitch calls much worse than that from male umpires."
So?
Even if you accept everything he said as true, he didn't say that it was a good call, or a strike. Would have been very easy to have said that, but he didn't. He said only that it wasn't an "egregiously" bad call, which is something I never claimed. I just said it was a "bad call".
But hey, you got your virtue signalling in, didn't you?
Oh, and you might be interested to know that her official umpire grade for the entire game was 92.72% correct calls, compared to the league average of 94.73, which is pretty respectable given that it was her first game.
https://nypost.com/2025/08/11/sports/jen-pawols-ump-scorecard-for-mlb-home-plate-debut-revealed/
But interestingly, her worst missed call of the entire night was on that very first pitch we've been discussing, which was 3.4 inches off the inside corner and should have been called a ball.

Question is - why might someone defend a clearly bad pitch just because the umpire is female? I mean, she's a big girl, and likely would admit that she blew that pitch.
Now personally, I have nothing against having a female umpire, and her overall score for the night was fine. But refusing to acknowledge a clearly bad pitch just because the ump is female is the kind of DEI crap I'd hoped we were getting away from.
And they say you're wrong.
