No, they didn’t. I gave up on them then and haven’t looked back. I grew up playing baseball and played 7 years of Pee Wee ball. Baseball was different back then. Agres 6-12 played on the same teams.

Now I don’t watch even the World Series. I went to a minor league game last year for the first time since the 90’s.

Funny story... worked with a youngster years ago at a dealership turning wrenches. One day I inquired of him whether him and his wife would like to accompany me down to a festival that was going on in a small Central Texas town. One of the events was a cornhole competition... told him he would enjoy it immensely and to wear something comfortable. He looked at me... his eyes as big as saucers and says “ I don’t know what you country boys do for fun around these parts but I’m not interested in any cornholing”. Realizing he was clueless, I say “Come on man, you just gotta hit the hole three times in a row” at which point (and I didn’t think this was possible) his eyes got even bigger. He politely refused my offer while I continued to pester him the next two hours about what a good time he would have and I’d hate for him and his wife to miss out on all the fun.

You just can’t show some people a good time... I suppose. To this day, it still cracks me up when it crosses my mind.

Yes, the reason for all this is

* A bad spirit

* It’s systemic now. They’re out of place, away from “Adam”, and their homes.

* The truly prayed up, and in the Word, can sense this bad spirit.

* MAGA, Isaiah 59:19, raised up in parallel, came against such spirits.

The pitch doesn't look like a breaking pitch. And even the best breaking pitches don't break 10 or 12 inches across the plate. The pitch was about 10 inches outside the zone.
