What evidence, Diogenes?
Did you find his Canadian birth certificate?
I'm assuming you haven't kept up with this issue, but it has been something that has compelled my interest since 2008. I have looked at everything I could find on the topic since then, and I dare say I probably know more about the subject than most people.
The evidence of Obama being born in Canada is circumstantial, but it is an explanation that fits.
I'll try to summarize briefly.
Stanley Ann Dunham showed up at her friend's house (Maxine Box, If I remember correctly) in Seattle shortly after Obama was born, and according to Box, Stanley Ann didn't know how to change his diaper. Box is certain it was in August because she specifically remembered something about the fires in California that year.
Stanley Ann not knowing how to change a diaper indicates that someone else had been doing it for her. It only takes a time or two of doing it yourself before you've got the knack of it.
Stanley Ann's enrollment in the University also says she was present in the Seattle area around August 19th. This was two weeks after the date Barry was born, and other freepers have verified that the airlines of that era would not allow a baby that young to fly for fear of damaging its eardrums. Freepers actually posted the flight rules material from the airlines. I saw it and I read it.
Stanley Ann had an Aunt Eleanor Dunham - Berkebile who lived in Blaine Washington. This was her dad's sister.
Stanley Dunham and Madelyn Dunham were just as racist as other people from Kansas were in 1960. When they found out their daughter had become impregnated by a black man, they were horrified. (this opinion is also circumstantial, and based on other material that I have ran across regarding the Dunhams.)
I don't know how old you are, but I presume you are old enough to know what people did in the 1950s and 1960s when they were faced with an embarrassing pregnancy?
They sent the girl off to live with a relative until the baby was born, and then they put the baby up for adoption.
As it turns out, there exists a letter from Barack Obama Sr which says he and she had decided to do this exact thing. I have read this letter. Their plan was to put the baby up for adoption.
Now Blaine Washington lies on the Border between Canada and the US. The Northern boundary of the city is in fact the border between the US and Canada. Walk across the border and you are in White Rock Canada.
Blaine doesn't have a hospital, and it was a common practice at the time for residents in Blaine to go to the hospitals in White Rock.
Stanley Ann likely lived with her Aunt Eleanor until the baby was due, and then went to White Rock for the delivery.
This scenario makes sense.
How does the "official" scenario sound?
Well Stanley Ann gives birth in some unidentified hospital in Hawaii, and then for some reason immediately decides to fly to Hawaii (probably paid for by Madelyn Dunham) and set up residence there, eschewing all the help a girl would ordinarily get from her mother and family.
Well she might have done that, but if this happened, what would be her motivation? Could her father have yelled at her for having a black baby? I suppose. It may have driven her away from home. But how would she get there? And how would she get there two weeks after he was born, and not knowing how to change a diaper?
The official story has some weak spots. The going to live with her Aunt seems pretty solid. It could also explain why the Hawaiian birth certificate is so screwed up.
Hawaii allows Hawaiian residents to claim birth in Hawaii regardless of where the birth actually takes place. The resident has up to a year to file for a birth certificate showing the child to be born in Hawaii. This is a carryover from the time children would be born on ships, and be declared born in the first port the ship would land at.
As an Island nation, this was just how things were done.
I don't think any other state allows this, but Hawaii does.
Did you find his Canadian birth certificate?
I've seen all sorts of claims and speculation on the existence of a Canadian birth certificate for Obama, but nothing I consider solid.
I do think i've seen a statement from Canadian authorities to the effect that they would not reveal anything about someone born in Canada, so there would be no cooperation from that direction.
But the circumstantial evidence of birth in Canada is pretty good, and stacks up at least as well as the claim he was born in Hawaii.
