He doesn't want the gravy train stopped for his illegal constituents - all of whom vote for him, repeatedly.

You can’t imagine how much of a gravy train there is for the illegals. Hospital systems are providing medical care for these illegals and it goes way beyond overwhelming the emergency rooms. They are overwhelming the health care budgets with their prescriptions for Ozempic. It is costing us taxpayers millions.
