Carbajal showed on X, a Mexican govt photo stating, “This was the picture on my green card when I immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico in 1970 at age 5.”
<><>The Bracero Program, which allegedly allowed his entire family to immigrate legally, ended in December 1964—one month after his birth and six years before his reported arrival in 1970.
<><>While Mr. Carbajal has frequently stated that his father was a farmworker, his official biography indicates his father worked in an Arizona mine when his family came to the U.S.
<><>The Bracero Program was limited to temporary workers in agriculture and railroads due to WWII labor shortages—the mining industry was not part of the program.
<><>The program granted visas only to individual male laborers, not their families.
<><>If his father was a Bracero, how did the entire family enter legally?

Astute Santa Barbara Current journos reported on Carbajal’s immigration history in February. The Current reported the following:
<><>In an article titled Consequences, Congressman Salud Carbajal’s self-described “inspiring immigrant story” was briefly mentioned.
<><>his office strongly objected to the following statement:
<><>“Salud Carbajal, immigrated illegally with his family at age five (first to Arizona and then) to Oxnard, where his father worked on a farm.
<><>Salud eventually became a U.S. citizen, served in the military, and was elected to public office.
<><>While Salud’s self-adulating “success story” is admirable, it is not the reason many argue for illegal immigration.
<><>His office specifically challenged the article’s claim that he entered the U.S. illegally, calling it “patently and provably false.”
<><>The fair-minded journos’ response, was to invite Mr. Carbajal’s office
<><>to provide proof of his legal entry,
<><>based on their own assertions that such proof exists
<><>given Carbajal’s extensive public discussion of his immigration story throughout his campaigns.
<><>Carbajal’s arrogant response? “We have nothing more to discuss.”
Carbajal’s self-congratulatoy story has many holes which
makes his position in Congress more tenous by the minute.
FTA——The Bracero program granted visas only to individual male laborers........ not their families.
<><>If Carbajal’s father was a Bracero, how did the entire family enter the US legally?
<><>Mr. Carbajal has stated that his family “was not separated” when they came to the U.S.
<><>but says he was the “last of his seven siblings to come to the US”
<><>how can both statements be true?
<><>He was born in Moroleón, Mexico—1,000 miles from the U.S. border.
<><>If his family traveled that distance, who facilitated their journey?
<><>If Carbajal arrived later, how did a young child travel that far alone?
<><>He has stated multiple times that he was five years old when he immigrated,
<><>and has also said he came to the US in 1970, which would have made him six years old.
The absurdity of that is off the charts if true. They come here illegally, milk the system, get fat, then milk it further with vanity Ozempic prescriptions. Variations of this theme go on for decades as Americans grit their teeth and our political system totally fails to do anything about it. Finally Donald Trump comes along to do something about it and is opposed by the system as though he were hitler. The level of crazy is a true marvel.
No 2025
Some here were convinced she was of “Rising Juntas” but I never thought the eyebrows were close enough
I wanted to see how it turned out - I put down a big picture of one gal - just curious
Nothing rings a bell........complete puzzlement ?????
What’s in dispute is whether the family entered the country illegally.
Videos of him at the ICE protest show an aggressive, mean spirited
individual who is the antithesis of what we expect of a US Congressman.
Now that he’s been outed, he’s desperate to keep his seat.
Probably getting rich off taxpayers.
Wonder how many bank accounts the loyal Mexican has waiting for him in Mexico?
Thanks for the ping.
thx-——missed it
Nothing will happen to this person.
For this one act he should have his citizenship revoked and deported immediately......................
Nothing has been done about Omar. Guessing a few other, too.
For this one act he should have his citizenship revoked and deported immediately.........
No question.........get him outta our Congress.
Check
It was too much even for Gov. Newsom - who promised free Medi-Cal to illegals - bill came in for $12B.
What’s an old Commie to do when his tax base is fleeing to Florida and Texas, he doesn’t have a money printing press and the Feds will not bail him out?
“Starting in 2026, California will halt new enrollments for undocumented adults in Medi-Cal, the state-funded healthcare program for low-income residents.
Additionally, beginning in July 2027, a $30 monthly premium will be imposed on immigrants currently enrolled in Medi-Cal, including some with legal status.”
Will take a lot of $30/month payments to make up for the $12B illegals have sucked out of the system, just on health care.
I suspect it is true that lot of illegals are getting Ozempic. Millions of them are getting free health care. A big percentage of them are overweight and have diabetes. Ergo...
There’s no dispute except in your imaginary mind. OBVIOUSLY if he became a naturalized citizen, he either entered illegally, or remained on US soil illegally for some time.
Smarten up
