I think people are making a mistake in assuming that Trump’s response has been haphazard and done with no forethought. Trump knows more about Epstein than any of us do so I have a hard time believing he hasn’t thought this through. And that leaves another possibility, that Trump always knew this was going to be messy and that there are reasons he wants to distance himself from the process.
It’s worth considering that maybe Trump wants to have his hand forced on the matter. He has competing interests he’s trying to deal with. He has the base and promises made to them as well as basic justice and transparency that needs to be satisfied. But he also needs cooperation with politicians both here and abroad. If Trump had started with the Epstein files on day one, does anyone think he would have been able to get tariffs negotiated, the BBB passed and cooperation with our NATO and Middle Eastern allies on issues ranging from Russia/Ukraine to Iran/Israel?
Keep in mind that Trump’s decisions often appear chaotic but more often than not, turn out O.K. in the end. In 3-6 months time, we’ll be able to make a better assessment as to whether that’s the case here, or not.

Number 1 for me...illegal immigration.
No borders, no rule of law when it comes to foreign nationals...no country.
If somehow a miracle happens and the 40+ million illegal aliens in the country were deported (self, or otherwise), the (D) commies would loose so much power in D.C. they'd be insignificant for a long long time.
Imagine how much more could be accomplished, over the source of several years/decades, than the already amazing work Trump has done.

If that happened Democrats would lose at least 30 House Seats. They ate at 21 percent popularity with the public but 500 percent popularity with ballots. 😤😡
It’s possible that the Epstein stuff will lead to the other,ore important stuff. It could be thread that unravels the whole cloth once it’s pulled.

Just got off the phone with top federal law enforcement contact. The change in approach to Epstein has been dramatic. Expect more disclosures. Some very powerful people inside Admin are now pushing for a Special Counsel and a full press briefing on Epstein findings.
Important to note, this drastic change happened after @charliekirk11 and a number of other powerful MAGA Voices pushed back on the handling of the Epstein case this weekend at the Turning Point conference. They were met with massive roars and applause from the 7000 gathered that could not be ignored.

she wants to run for office. maybe her people realized this is a significant issue that you cant just ignore.
Benny has been given access to the WH and has been allowed to ask questions.
He could have easily capitulated in order to not loose his access.
I commend him for staying strong. I dont listen to his podcasts but I do read his tweets.
