In 1941 Germany and the USSR got into a little spat. Germany emphasized quality over quantity. The USSR did just the opposite.
And we all know how that turned out.
Is there a lesson there? I’m not a field marshal, or even a general. So I dunno.
“Quantity has a quality all of its own.”
That is ignoring the fact that Germany had multiple attackers and conquered land to defend, vs the Soviets that barely had food at the time, and one front to deal with.....
