WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 9, 2025) – Cygnal, one of the nation’s fastest growing and most accurate private polling firms, released the following monthly National Voter Trends (NVT) poll (conducted July 1-2) of 1,500 likely 2026 midterm election voters.

Data vs. Dogma

Here are two prevailing narratives across the news and social media landscape that don’t square with the latest data:

DOGMA: Broad Opposition to ICE Raids: Voters are split about the causes of the recent Los Angeles protests turned riots (40% federal agents, 37% protest agitators)

DATA: However, 50 percent of voters support ICE’s overall mission to remove illegal immigrants from the United States. More importantly, Hispanic voters are now 11 points more likely to support deportation than two months ago. …

My guess is those types are why they left their homeland in the first place.

They know what they’re about and don’t want them either.

“Cygnal, one of the nation’s fastest growing and most accurate private polling firms”

According to them.

Not saying it isn’t true.

You have absolutely no idea.

The vast majority of illegals that crossed the border are not from Mexico.

Matter of an absolute fact is that migrants here from Mexico can be and are taken back across the border an released into Mexican authority.

We can bitch and moan about it all we want but untill we go into Mexico and destroy the Cartels, this will continue.

In the meantime, a system of work permits needs to be established for farm laborers from south of the border.

And BTW, i live at ground zero pertaining the immigration issue.

There used to be one.

I remember seeing the farm migrants in Upstate NY during the summers.

I know most are not from Mexico, but the cartels are the cartels and what the Mexican cartels inflicted on people the other ones in other countries do, too.

And so the illegals don’t want them around regardless of where they originate from cause they know what they’re getting.

This isnt new. From 1942 to 1964 there was a migrant program that was in force to allow for Mexican farm labor to come into this country to work on farms, etc.
Since then, they’ve worked under the H visa system which is nothing but another government failure.

We had a neighbor who had a tomato farm in Salinas CA...1975 or so. He sold it because of the problems created by the visa system. He told of how tgese laborers were afraid to go back to Mexico back then because of gangs.
Whats happening nowadays is the same. They come to the USA to work on the farms but, if they send money back to their families in Mexico, the cartels demand street tax-thats another way to say extort. If the family doesnt pay, then they litterly get to see their families heads stuck on posts...or simply disappear.
So, they bring the family here along with them to protect them. Illegally, then one of them has a baby here.

Instead of attacking the cause, the emotionally rabid ignorance of the political class has created a self inflicted disaster. Its the criminal cartels that created this and untill the administration gets that through their thick skulls, nothing will get solved.

I have seen some stupidity in my day, but Trump has the grand prize. Now he has gave the opposition party an issue to run on and it WILL, come back to bite him.
Meantime, tge cartels simply fly them to Canada at a 5 to 10 thousand dollar fee for each person, and run them across the northern border along with drugs.

Intill we INVADE, Mexico and destroy the cartels, nothing changes.
