The Leftists there want to bring their country to the Stone Age (otherwise known as Net Zero), so the ‘conservatives’ there thought it was a good idea too, so they joined the fun.
Bottom line - in much of the West, people only THINK they have the freedom to elect someone that represents their values...they don’t.

I would think the soaring energy costs in Germany and other parts of Europe as well as the recent blackouts in Spain and Portugal would serve as bellwethers warning that rapid change in energy policy direction is needed.
