“From the long distance vantage point across the Pacific Pond, 1 of the major early signs was the reaction to the Port Arthur Massacre in APR 1996 which resulted in massive gun control laws passed. The Ozzie government also behaved badly during the 2020-2023 COVID Scamdemic.”

scamdenic is a great phrase

American Presidents have powers to make executive orders far transcending what a prime minister in the Westminster system can do

“Time to rethink helping Austrailia build a submarine fleet that may one day be used against us.”

only if Chine takes it over by invading Oz ...... very unlikely but not impossible .........

my dad served under General Douglas MacArthur in Morotai and Balikpapan in 1945 ...... so I think Aussie-U.S. friendship is really important

“Australia like Canada is sunk.

A friend who owns farmland in Canada says he’s selling his land as they love their socialism so much they will never get out of it. His farm is being taxed to the point he cannot profit, and he knows the taxes go to support the socialist freebies.

Like Californians, they keep voting for their own misery. I suspect the Aussies are no different.

I am so happy the great citizenry of this great nation woke up and outvoted election fraud and gave us Trump.”

The Donald is a political genius.

“I can’t believe it. The little socialist, all hat and no cattle, won. And we can’t blame electronic counting machines or fake ballots. Aussies will regret this when the blackouts hit.”

I was a scrutineer of votes at the 2012 federal election here and i can tell you thta you have to follow stuff on a vote-counter’s computer screen that flashes by so fast that you cant scrutinize it and if you have a concern you get ignored

the computer system is designed by a Japanese company with a history of corrupot dealings in the region

Trump’s stupid attacks on our allies have led to the left winning in Canada and Australia.

“Trump’s stupid attacks on our allies have led to the left winning in Canada and Australia.”

i agree with what you say about the damage his actions have done to conservatism.

I think his attacks on Canada were stupid but he was more restrained with respect to Australia.
