They did her a favor.
Eric Cartman: Necesito burrito.
Something just doesn’t seem right about this whole thing. I’m guessing this woman is a known pain in the rear end and they probably have had enough of her.
Paging Tom Homan.
Back in 1977 when I lived in South Florida, Broward and Dade counties, there were signs around that said “ENGLISH SPOKEN HERE”, one was in SEARS downtown Miami!...............
I remember the bumper sticker ‘Will the last American leaving Miami remember to bring the flag.’

They gave her a gift card................written in Spanish.............

Duolingo is free.
Glenn Bell served me my first Taco Bell meal in 1962, at the first location in Downey, CA. He’d be rolling in his grave if he saw what Taco Bell has turned into.

On of the unknown impacts of migration and the failure to assimilate is that in Tampa and all areas south you can’t get a job without being bilingual. There’s an unexpected barrier to entry level jobs. Meanwhile it doesn’t seem to be an issue if the employee does not speak English. I’ve several times run across that issue. It’s fine if you can just point at an item, but if it’s a service issue, forget about communicating.
