There are jobs that require specific college degrees. My purpose for pursuing college degrees was to meet job requirements. My intent was to better provide for my family. The degrees I pursued were geared for jobs, which were in demand. I believe the 'college' problems we have today are many and include: 1- Indoctrination vs education. 2 - Too many worthless degrees. 3. - Too expensive. 4. - Too many jobs intended for College graduates are being taken/stolen by (H1B) foreigners. This may be the most egregious problem affecting College students.

excellent points. I would add a fifth one: Corporate America needs to find an alternative source to evaluate and train prospective employees.
There seemed to be an endless valve of money poured into DEI over the years by corporate executives...would love to see this money shifted towards training/apprenticeship programs for young people who can complete some type of rigorous entrance requirement for employment at said companies.
