Senate Leader John Thune and Establishment Republicans Are Lobbying President Trump to Endorse RINO Senator John Cornyn Over MAGA Favorite Ken Paxton in Texas

Senate Majority Leader John Thune and other establishment Republicans are lobbying President Trump to endorse Senator John Cornyn over Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

According to a report from CNN, Republican leaders are becoming “anxious” about the prospect of Paxton launching a successful primary challenge against Cornyn.

Cornyn has long been unpopular within MAGA circles for his closeness to former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and opposition to parts of Trump’s policia agenda.

No fan of Cornyn but I can accept him for six more years if Paxton is chosen as Attorney General. Perhaps Bondi is a placeholder since Trump could not get Matt Gaetz.

ino partners? Then put something on the table, something substantial, not just talk.

I think Paxton‘s best campaign issue would be to start using the gun laws. Cornyn “negotiated” to shut down gun shows in Texas, and remind people why they’re shut down. I will donate tom, and vote for anyone who runs against Cornyn. I’m not even sure I will vote for Cornyn if he wins the primary.

Tim Scott is backing Cornyn, just as he supported Lisa Murkowski against her articulate, conservative opponent in the last Alaska primary.

Mitch McConnell is proud of Tim Scott.

I am another hard shell Texas Conservative that has left the vote slot open for Coryn any time it appeared. He is the epitimy of a Washington swamp critter with many different colors of brown on his nose. I literally cringe any time I see a photograph of him.
