Yes, it is bad. Just because I'm a Trump supporter doesn't mean I'm giving them all a knobby.
For starters, it'd be a violation of a Federal Records Act, since a FOIA request would be harder to fulfill from some random gmail account.
Hell, I'm in local government and our state Sunshine Act requires using a gov't issued email for all correspondence.

With the trillions we spend, how can the White House NOT have its own dedicated and totally secure app??? How can an opposition reporter... essentially the enemy... get invited and not be noticed for the entire hour of that conversation???
In the end, the attacks went as they should, which is expected, but you cannot say that the situation was not a SNAFU. Things need to get tightened up.
