French President Macron’s recent speech urging all Europeans to prepare for war with Russia is a dangerous escalation. Delivered live across the continent, his message was clear: Europe must not allow Ukraine to be “given away” to Russia, no matter the cost. But in his haste to push for military action, Macron seems to have forgotten the devastating consequences of war. The rush to mobilize and prepare for a conflict that will only bring destruction is reckless, especially when diplomacy should be the first course of action.
Germany’s Foreign Minister Baerbock followed suit, urging Germans to prepare for war, despite ongoing peace talks. But the timing of these speeches suggests something more than national security—it feels like the political elite is pushing for a war of their own making. As Merkel steps aside, Chancellor Merz’s upcoming government is expected to continue this war-hungry rhetoric, all while the common people are left to bear the consequences. If this is how Europe plans to handle the crisis, it’s clear that ordinary citizens will have to pay the price for a war they did not choose.

The last time France attacked anyone was under Napoleon.
Debatable propositions.
The fight to make the world safe for perverts would be burnt toast.
The climate change fraud would be dead meat.
We would save a fortune on defense spending for Europe.
There are probably be more benefits to be had....
That said—I am not in favor of it. I am just pointing that the net effect is not super clear.
“And if it does, its gonna be low level war.
And relatively localized in scope.”
That’s how it will start but it won’t stay at that level very long.
All the while their will be enormous pressure to get the US involved to save the Euroweenies butts.
Trump is correct is pushing hard for peace.
“The fight to make the world safe for perverts would be burnt toast.
The climate change fraud would be dead meat.”
We have plenty of perverts here so I don’t think you’re correct.
Climate change is dying a slow death because it is bs and people are noticing that their predictions never come true and all it accomplishes is a lower standard of living.
Folks here defending the Euroweenies say they have learned from their mistakes.
I see zero evidence for it.
Who is defending the Euroweenies? They are willing to risk destroying their countries and trying to pull us in as well.
They suck.

usa actually piloted most/all ukrainian drones
Like some kiddie holding his breath.
Yah just rebuilt NotreDame. You really want to risk that to a small nuke? Geesh. Froggies.
Ever since y’all murdered your nobility that helped the US come into being you have been a pack of losers.
I think there is something to strauss and howe’s generations theory. “the fourth turning”. Every 80 years or so you have existential crisis or major war. After 80 years all the people who have direct memory of how awful war really is are gone. We may well learn firsthand that war isn’t just infotainment on cnn.
Looks like the Europeans insatiable desire for war is going to escalate the Ukrainian war to a global one!
You are right if it stays confined to Europe and Russia. I for one don’t want the EBS going off with Russian missiles in bound for CONUS because the zeepers, the deep state, establishment trash and European maniacs got their wish for a world war.
If the Europeans continue to run their mouths eventually Trump will have to openly state the US will not honor their NATO agreement in any way if the Europeans go into the Ukraine with their militaries and that we reserve the right to begin pulling US forces out of Europe if they do. These so-called sophisticated war hawks started two world wars in less than thirty years and would have started WWIII long ago if we had ran NATO for 70 years. Now they have decided in their own hubris and bloodthirst to ignore the US and they will bumble in yet another world war to satisfy the warmongers.
Not anymore!
NATO commitments are defense and are only applicable in defense situations where they are being invaded.
If they start it with their own invasions, we are under no obligation to help them...
