Ever since President Trump and Vice President Vance called out Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office, European government leaders have been throwing up their virtue signals about how they all 'stand with Ukraine.'
.
.
One particular account who wanted to flex his muscles was Austrian economist Gunther Fehlinger-Jahn, who made the bold claim today that Europe should 'confiscate' all U.S. military assets on the continent.

In several euro-trash western countries you now can get longer prison sentences for “hate crime speech” than many serious physical crimes.

Ones I can name just from memory are U.K., Germany and Sweden I think.

They seem to be moving farther and farther away from traditional Western values. I think the time has came to form new alliances, perhaps with South American countries?

Just one of many examples; https://www.yahoo.com/news/german-woman-given-harsher-sentence-155055252.html

And what if we just pack up our military assets and bring them home right now? How would that work out for you?

Good luck trying that. I guess he doesn’t know what happened to the last group of Nazis in his country.

and maybe the idiot doesn’t realize but even IF the Yurps were able to do that somehow.....how would they operate without US intel and logistics support not to mention without Starlink?

The Europeans really are powerless - because they’re toothless and have failed to provide for their own defense for decades and decades despite us pleading with them over and over again to get serious about it.

I’ve thought for a long time that leaving Europe is the best policy.

When Dick Cheney was secretary of defense in 1989, he told Europe they need to increase their defense spending. That was 36 years ago. Europe never really got on board NATO.

"In a successful bid to maintain the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s so-called “3% commitment,” Cheney argued that an allied pledge to boost defense budgets would keep pressure on the Soviets in negotiations, as well as on the U.S. Congress and the European public."

Then Europe would be at odds with the two largest nuclear powers on the planet.

I agree, packing up and leaving is an excellent idea. Why are we still there eighty years after the end of World War Two? A huge waste of money. We can sell our bases to our Euro “friends” and they can take over their own defense.

Even worse. They’ve been doing what Biden did for a long time. Over run with foreigners. The most common name for a baby boy in England used to be Jack. Now it’s nothing English. No idea what they name baby girls. Places all over Europe are unrecognizable. I wonder what kind of tariffs they charge the U.S.? Confiscate our military equipment and supplies would be really stupid, but you all know you can’t fix stupid. I say pull out of scumbags country. We shouldn’t be paying for their security. We bailed them out twice that’s enough.
