I disagree. Voting is a right that cannot be infringed once a person has proven their citizenship. I support ID, in order to vote, but an ID should be required.
That would be like saying that you have to have a passport to own a gun.

Voting's never been a universal right. Originally it was primarily male landowners. Today, if you're under 18 you have no vote.
