Eliminate the red tape to make it cheap and easy. It should not cost more to adopt a child than to kill a child.
I don’t know how I come down on this, really. On the one hand IVF isn’t the normal process, but a life is created that could thrive in a family that really wanted it.
I guess the big problem with IVF is the number of fertilized eggs that have to be produced that don’t ‘make it’ in order to get that one successful attempt....
Regardless, he’s only doing what he promised and said he’d do.
We have friends who adopted a little boy from Russia, but that route has been closed to Americans for years.
We knew someone who did too, and raising him was a nightmare for them.
He had so many emotional issues from being in an orphanage for so long.
It costs about $30,000 for the adoption process for each child.
And there’s no guarantees you’ll get one. And after a certain number of years, you have to start the whole process over again, background checks, fingerprinting, etc.
The vast majority wait too long, and it is their choice. They put it off for partying, having fun, career, etc. Then they get concerned around 30 when the looks start going and want everything on their timetable because now marriage and family suddenly become important, ie they cant party and fool around like theynused to and want a guy who will be their nice provider atm.
Its extremely easy for a woman to get a guy and get married if she wants. Its not going to be Chad that she wants and screws because he has no reason to marry her, but it would be one of the guys she friendzoned or turned down along the 12 year march to 30. She only looks for Forest Gump after shes been run through and needs security and what she wants, a baby.
OK. Give us the stats.
Wheres your stats? “Sometimes” and “often” aren’t concrete numhers.
Modern women today put off family in their most fertile times, their early 20s. The birth rates are dropping hard. The age of first time moms is getting older and continues to get older, into the mid to late 20s, outside their best peak fertility ages. The number of women in college and advanced degrees is getting larger, putting off marriges and starting families. Women are doing what they want (they say so), their best childbearing years are spent in college or careers, fooling around with dudes. Plus add the fact when they are careless and get pregnant then, they abort it (younger women make up the majority of abortions) and that can screw their chances for pregnancy later, when they decide to care about it later on.
The advancement of technology has allowed more potential solutions for women who want to have a child?
“Obviously Trump needs more and better Roman Catholic advisors.”
If the Pope is a a paragon of a Catholic Advisor, I’ll pass on that suggestion...”Papa” seemed to be on the Pedo’s side of the aisle...
The “Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Jesus Christ” appears to be anything but....he might as well be Jim Jones
I didn’t say the Pope. I said Roman Catholic advisors. That excludes anyone in the Vatican.
Not to mention if birth parents reconsider and you’re tied up in court for years. The well-being and stability for child is completely disregarded.
Yup.
After paying all her expenses, she can back out at the last minute and you’re screwed, out those tens of thousands of dollars.
“I didn’t say the Pope. I said Roman Catholic advisors. That excludes anyone in the Vatican.”
Isn’t the Pope the advisor to the advisors? Why have one if he’s just a socialist figurehead who seldom preaches the Word of the New Covenant?
Convenient to exclude the Vatican from part of the Roman Catholic Advisory echelons - kind of like excluding the altar from the churches...
