As Fox News’s Chad Pergram reported, McConnell gave a nasty speech on the Senate floor following the vote explaining why he voted against RFK Jr and the Make America Healthy Again movement.
McConnell first turned to a predictable target every critic has used against RFK. Jr: vaccines.
“I’m a survivor of childhood polio,” McConnell said. “In my lifetime, I’ve watched vaccines save millions of lives from devastating diseases across America and around the world.
“I will not condone the re-litigation of proven cures, and neither will millions of Americans who credit their survival and quality of life to scientific miracles.”
McConnell then viciously attacked RFK Jr. as a “dangerous conspiracy theorist” and accused him of “eroding trust in public institutions.” It should be noted McConnell never used this kind of language when referring to Anthony Fauci, a key villain during the COVID-19 pandemic.

My veterinarian is a polio survivor. He is not against the polio vaccine. He is very much against the mRNA shots, and feels the amount of shots that kids (and animals) get is ridiculous

I’ve known people personally who had post polio syndrome. They never dwelled on it or displayed it as some kind of badge of virtue. They had some disability from it, but they dealt with it. McConnell did the country a great service of keeping the psychopathic Garland off the SC, but since then he’s just lost the plot.
You do you. The whole argument is about letting you do what you want.
But polio has been bad since the beginning of time. Based on my recently learned family experience…you don’t want to mess with it.
Both my mother and her brother were paralyzed for months. It literally bankrupted my grandparents. I guess having two kids in iron lungs in the depression will do a number on you.
But…if you want to risk it, have at it.
I’ve no question but that they were grievously harmed, but I doubt it was from the polio virus.

To your point, what is his point? They all know how the vote is going to go ahead of time. There are no surprises. If you cannot actually block something, Why vent your spleen to no purpose? I am sure someone other than Mitch is voting for him. I just don’t see the purpose.
McConnel will go out like Biden....deservingly. Justice.

That Frankenstein "vaccine" (experimental gene therapy) should never have seen widespread public distribution. It was never ready for prime time.
