a pardon removes all legal consequences associated with a conviction ... therefore excluding folks from employment who have received a pardon is equivalent to excluding someone who has committed no crime ... FANTASTIC opportunity for lawsuits claiming violation of Illinois and Federal civil rights, and probably numerous other Illinois state laws as well ...

The J6ers should sue the governor for libel—they were not “rioters” and it was a vicious slander.
