I’ve thought that for a while now. Take them there, and then let the home country be responsible for air dropping food, clothes, meds, etc. WE don’t want to handle care and maintenance for these people.
I would refer the Venezuelan government to the actions taken against Columbia as to what will happen if they refuse to take their citizens back

We will try sanctions as a first step, with "let's make a deal" as the counterpoint. But, I believe that economic sanctions will not be enough. It would require a serious threat of an expeditionary force that overthrows the Venezuelan government.
I am not certain that we can do that successfully right now. Maybe later. Much later. Maybe never.
A new system of prison camps in Arizona for pending deportees sounds like a more likely measure. Just "temporary". Sure thing, right?
