Generally speaking I don't mind it either. OTOH, as I noted in my comment #37 above, I've been sprayed (including directly in the face) while rescuing skunks as a wildlife rehab'er, and I have to admit that was over-the-top unpleasant.

Little-known trivia: skunk spray is occasionally used as in ingredient in perfume. In very small amounts, it lends a useful and interesting note to the fragrance.
