Why? Trump wasn’t a politician before he won by a landslide as a rookie in 2016.
Trump should have picked him as VP.
I guess we’ll see.
He’s a better fit as Governor than Senator. Imagine what he could accomplish...election integrity, school choice, education reforms, tax policy....
I thought that too, but JD Vance is more of the proper balance to Trump. And I like that he's weary of H1-B's but also married to an Indian woman. Has big picture.

I love Trump but by 2028, his time will have come to an end and we will need to move on to greater restoration of our Free Constitutional Gov’t.
I think Trump loves America but I think he is tone deaf, as are many, to what it takes to truly restore America’s Free Constitutional Republic which MUST happen to MAGA.
Vivek needs to be out there as the vanguard and leading edge of change and EXTREME DISRUPTION of the Washington D.C. establishment and elimination of the unconstitutional portion of the federal gov’t.
And, again, politician and establishment Vance is NOT that guy...

Yes I meant as a VP Candidate for 2024, I prefer Vance as a pairing with Trump.

Back to serious. Some here think Vivek would be better VP than J.D., but Vance was the perfect choice, and even Trump couldn’t have known that when he made the choice. Beyond all the other good reasons for Vance being VP, most of which have to do with being the antiPence, he is the embodiment of two of the four major disasters of the past year:
*East Palestine, OH
*Helene in Appalachia
Milton in FL
wildfires in Los Angeles
DeSantis co-ordinated recovery activities relating to Milton, so that even with all the destruction, there is a fairly quick return to normal as much as possible.
The Dems in LA have so screwed up the wildfires that it will be a long time before they get their reputation back, if ever.
But the first two were disasters where the Feds purposefully withheld rescue and recovery support, and everyone could see this. Vance is the kind of person who connects with the people in those disasters, and they know it, and the rest of the country knows it. It wouldn’t have been the same with Ramaswamy, not for any fault of his, just because his background isn’t the Ohio Valley/Appalachia background that the rest of the non-elite America also understands.
Ramaswampy is a Democrat fraud who once enthusiastically backed DEI and ESG policies and got millions in funding for it...now grifting off naive MAGAs after his pharma scams flopped.
Did anyone inform him the job actually could involve work?

You haven’t worked with too many Black Americans have you?
I retired from an USA observatory, Keck, that had a VERY international staff.
They were VERY picky on who they hired.
I don’t remember any Black Americans working there at all.
