Arson is NOT climate change.
Could be a hiker, careless homeless person, or intentional.
I recall hearing law enforcement was early on investigating a possible arsonist. Never heard any follow up.
But here's the video FWIW.

That is so JUDGMENTAL! I expect the California authorities will track you down to silence you . . . and perhaps give this poor fellow a voucher for free tuition to UCLA.
Although I suspected arson, I don’t see a man there.
Arson is real; climate change is a hoax.
To me the camera view is not clear. All I say is smoke starting from a particular point. I see no person.
Rewatch and look for this:
1. Put on your ‘readers’ if you have eyes like mine;
2. Look at the time between 2 and 5 seconds;
3. Look at the white spot (rock?) in the middle of the red circle ‘drawn’ onto the video;
4. A ‘black figure’ - looks like a human - moves in front of the bright rock and you can make him (?) out from there.
Agree - ideally, we’d have clearer video.
There are two other videos of the fire right when it started. I’m not sure who reported the even to LEOs.
If the starter was another illegal alien, they’d want to bury it.
Don’t focus on that tiny white speck. Look just to the right of the white speck and you will see a dark figure standing there then fleeing in a north-westerly direction from the ignition point.
BINGO. If a TEAM of illegals did this, the State of Commiefornia will cover it up because then it would implicate Joe Burden and the ERASURE of our border.

Of course it was intentional, usually here they announce the cause of fires on the same day it occurs, it NEVER takes this long unless the cover up is going on

So some “media person” here may be able to FOIA a clearer video.
It required me to use my magnifying glass over the screen in order to just barely make out what might be a human figure near the smoke.

Can someone figure out which camera it’d be? That’s the footage we’d want to review.
Looks like the person would have entered the Skull Rock Trailhead in Topanga State Park.
Traveled in a few hundred yards at most and set the fire.
They would have traveled through The Summit community. Likely cameras (if they survived) in that neighborhood.
OK they have some footage from some distance of some smoke.
If they get prosecutable evidence of real arson that’s one thing. But let’s hope they are not just flailing about trying to pin this on some poor schmuck to detract from government’s failures.
And the smoke started why...?
